In this course I studied the various methods to conduct research. The articles and readings I did were all related to conducting research in education. The most challenging part of the course was definitely learning and applying statistics. I hadn’t taken a statistics course in so long that it was a bit of a shock to the system. But I enjoyed reading articles and, in the end, conducting my own literature review. The first paragraph of my literature review explains, quite plainly, my explored interest and growth for the course.
Technology is changing and growing everyday. Simply spending any amount of extended time in a public place one can immediately notice the extent to which technology has permeated everyday life. From subtle exposure to media and television to the ever-prevalent smart phone, it is clear that we are a world constantly connected. As Web 2.0 technologies evolve and become intertwined with everyday technology use, this constant connectivity leaves one to wonder: How are we addressing these ever changing technologies in education? More specifically, how are these technologies used by students and educators?
